This Forum is to be organized by the Cairo-based the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (ARADO), an affiliate of the Arab League in collaboration with Queen Centre for Jordanian Studies and Community Service of the Jordanian Yarmuk University.
The event is primarily concerns with the discussion of the use of ICT for improving the resources management of Arab institutions and offering good services to consumers. ICT can support institutions’ e-governance through improvement the efficiency of these institutions, enhance the offering of services to reach a degree of coherence between the departments at these institutions and consumers, improve transparency and accountability, assist consumers to get official data and enhance the involvement of consumers in setting general policies.
The Forum aims at introducing the role of e-governance in managing change, the role of information technology systems in governance, the role of governance in selecting domain names and addresses, exchange of experiences in the field of governance and establishing a mechanism to introduce best application practices.
The Forum discusses a number of topics, including: E-governance, control objectives for information and related technologies, the role of E-governance in the selection of Internet domains and names, the role of E-governance in managing educations institutions and introduction successful institutional applications practices.
