The importance of this Forum comes as government in many parts of the world are working for the establishing e-government portals to serve citizens, support transparency and sincerity of government departments and change the stereotypical image about government performance.
Many government agencies in the Arab world, who manage to establish such portals, were faced by many problems, mainly administrative, legal, financial and technological problems.
This Forum focuses on a number of themes, the most important of which are: ways for planning and building e-government portals, technological problems encountering e-government sites and solutions of these problems, legal problems related to citizens’ e- transactions and problems related to human resources and the planning of these resources when used in establishing e-government portals.
