A new study revealed that cyber criminals do not take necessary measures to protect the tools they use for attacking websites.

Web security experts say that many of the malware used by the hackers are full of weaknesses. They added that making use of these weaknesses might enable a counter attack against their senders   in addition to identify them.

The study says that some hackers handicraft the malware kits they are using to attack the websites, while many of them make use of the malware kits that are widely available online.

The French Researcher in Information Technology, Laurent Oudot has analyzed the inner workings of many of these malware kits to test their security level.

He confirmed that many of the kits named after Neon, Elenore and Sniper are very weak and could be easily exploited.

In a paper he presented before Syscan security conference in Singapore, he has enumerated 13 different weaknesses in some very popular malware kits.

He went on saying that making use of these weaknesses might enable the security researchers to “hack the web hackers”.

He further added that regardless” legal constraints” in adopting such tools, we have to search about new ways to tackle the issue of the information technology globally.
