A new study revealed that IT experts in Europe are very optimistic about the recovery of their sector this year due to the improvement in the world economy.
The study that covered 300 IT professionals in Britain, France and Germany disclosed that 15% are expecting the recovery to take place in summer, while 45% said that it will take place by the end of this year.
The managing director of Dynamic Markets who made the research said that there is an increasing hope about the recovery of the IT sector this year.
The study said that following the world economic crisis, IT departments have started to use IT more efficiently, computerizing processes besides managing their IT assets carefully.
However, the study which was specially made for Numura Software revealed that IT managers are concerned about the short budgets during the last two years saying that it might have damaged the status of IT departments in the organizations.
About 63% of the IT directors say that if the cuts in the budget allocated for the sector remained, the sector will continue suffer.
Commenting on the finding of the study the senior analyst at Ovum, Steve Mann, said that instead of stop working, IT departments have to learn working effectively despite the short budgets.
It’s to be noted here that the study said that IT departments have been deeply affected by Global financial crisis in the last two years.
