During the inauguration of the second training program for media workers in press and television, H. E. Eng Mohammed Jamil Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, praised the renaissance that is being witnessed in the Kingdom in Communications and Information Technology. The training program sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, entitled (the foundations of media approaching to communication and information technology Issues), 23rd – 25th Jumada'II 1431, Riyadh.
Engineer Mullah insured that training national cadres in the media sector, to qualify them to deal with new media techniques, and coverage of events related to the sector professionally and the dissemination of digital culture, is a goal that the ministry seeks to achieve, concluding his comment with sincere wishes to reflect the impact of this training program on the participants performance in the near future to serve their dear country.
On the other hand, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulla AlQassim, the Counselor to the Minister; and General Supervisor of the National Plan for Communications and Information Technology, pointed out that, the training program aims to enhance communication between the media and telecommunications and information technology sector in order to upgrade media approaching to the issues of this important sector and to participate in the development of skills of media workers in the areas related to this aspect, in addition to other initiatives being implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
