His Excellency Eng. Haitham Al-Ohali, Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, received at his office on Wednesday, to 3 October 2018, the Honorable Mr. James Monor, Ambassador of the Republic of New Zealand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral collaboration between the two countries in the field of communication and information technology.

The meeting addressed issues of mutual interest in the field of communications and information technology, and focused on exchanging knowledge and information regarding the development of the ICT sector as well as on enhancing investment opportunities between the two countries.

The Ambassador of New Zealand lauded the healthy regulatory environment of the ICT sector in Saudi Arabia, praising the Ministry's leading role in establishing a ground of great potential for the sector. He also expressed his pride in the good relations between the two friendly countries and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
