The workshop is aimed to enhance the opportunities for technological and economic collaboration and highlight the investment opportunities available to both parties to serve the common development goals of Saudi Arabia and Japan, as well as to encourage technology companies in both countries to play a greater role in the development of bilateral relations.

The activities of the workshop featured over 15 Saudi and Japanese technology companies, together with banks and government entities related to the ICT sector from both parties.

In addition, Alqahtani stated that this meeting comes in light of the transformation that the Kingdom is witnessing in the ICT sector, which requires understanding and empowering all kinds of partnership, using the major international technology companies to participate in it and focusing on local content and innovation.

For his part, the head of ICT Sector at SAGIA Eng. In addition, the ministerial officials and the heads of participating companies discussed the fields of ICT collaboration between the two countries and the prospects for their development.
