MCIT launches ‘Tech Champions’ bootcamp

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has launched a bootcamp under the ‘Tech Champions’ program in its first session. The bootcamp is aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of 400 young entrepreneurs and providing them with the skills of Artificial Intelligence technology as a priority in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its initiatives, which focus on building the future and elevating the Kingdom's global position.

The bootcamp will be organized in Jeddah, Riyadh, Ahsa, and Arar respectively to provide participants with a practical experience in two programs, training and mentoring. Over five days through business accelerators, the participants will receive intensive training on the use of technology, which is playing a growing role in the growth and progress of business in a rapidly changing world. At the end of the bootcamp, winners will be honored.

It is worth mentioning that MCIT is exerting continuous efforts to achieve its strategic orientations emanated from the Vision 2030, which aims to build a digital society, a digital government and a thriving digital economy with an industry based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
