MCIT, HRDF launch program to nationalize 14000 ICT positions

Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) have launched a joint nationalization program that targets 14,000 positions in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030
 
Concurrently with the events of ‘Jeddah Encounters 2019’, the program has been launched by Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology H.E. Eng. Haitham Al-Ohali and Director-General of Hadaf Dr. Mohammed Al-Sudairy. It is divided into four phases, with first targeting technical support positions and second targeting data analysis positions, while the third and fourth phases will target project management and call centers positions. 
 
MCIT will oversee the implementation of the three first phases of the program, including hiring, training, guiding and supervising the training and ensuring its quality, while Hadaf will provide facilities related to participating companies and job seekers in the national job web portal in coordination with MCIT.
 
The supported positions will includes artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), games development, programming, database, quality of programming, management and operation of apps and networks.
