Communications Minister receives Ambassador of Japan
His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, received in his office at the Ministry recently the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom Mr. Tsukasa Uemura.
Eng. Al-Swaha welcomed the Japanese Ambassador for his visit, commending the the strong relations between the two friendly countries and the outcomes of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030. Al-Swaha noted the attention given by the leadership of the two countries to leveraging their strategic partnership, and expressed his his aspiration for more collaboration and rapprochement.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed means of collaboration between the two countries in the ICT sector, where the talks focused on how to activate it. They also valued the efforts of the two working groups of the Saudi MCIT and its Japanese counterpart aimed at concluding an agreement that will serve as an umbrella for their future joint work.
