His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, recently witnessed the signing of three agreements between Prince Sultan University (PSU) and each of Integrated Telecom, Cisco Academy and Microsoft.

Eng. Al-Swaha said that his appearance at the signing of the three agreements was based on his belief in the necessity of concerted efforts to achieve Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which provided an appreciable space for the youth, recognizing the importance of empowering and training them in preparation for their participation in the process of construction, advancement and development in the Kingdom. Al-Swaha also noted that the three agreements, that came within King Salman Education for Employment Program (E4E) adopted by PSU's Community Service and Continuing Education Center, would enable students to obtain professional certification to qualify them to take on prestigious jobs and provide job security to them, which would have significant outputs in the short term.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Yamani, Rector of Prince Sultan University, expressed his pleasure to sign the three agreements with the three major ICT companies, particularly as their former cooperation with two of them has resulted in the training of many graduates. Moreover, he stated that the experience of the E4E has been 100% successful, indicating that the PSU is looking forward to developing partnership with the public and private sectors to accomplish the E4E’s objectives and targets, all of which are within the Vision 2030.

The E4E at PSU is a leading development model that prepares university graduates for the job market. It was created to employ graduates with a view to keep abreast of the continuous development and requalify hundreds of Saudi graduates for the purpose of building capacities and capabilities required to achieve the ambitious goals of the Vision 2030, thus realizing PSU’s aspirations toward serving the society through supporting and developing the Saudi youth in order to achieve the objectives of the National Transformation Program.
