Alswaha Meets Space Technology Leaders to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure, AI Partnerships
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a series of meetings with leaders of global entities and companies during the Saudi delegation’s participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The meetings discussed expanding partnerships in the fields of digital infrastructure, enterprise computing, space technologies, and advanced computing, in support of the growth of the digital economy and in line with the developments of the smart era.
As part of efforts to develop partnerships in advanced computing and artificial intelligence (AI), the minister met with Cerebras Systems Chief Executive Officer Andrew Feldman to discuss cooperation in high-performance computing and AI technologies, contributing to accelerating technological innovation and enabling digital capabilities.
Within the framework of expanding international partnerships in the field of space and advanced technologies, the minister met with European Space Agency Director-General Josef Aschbacher to discuss prospects for cooperation in space technologies, capacity building, and enabling innovation.
Minister Alswaha also met with Hewlett Packard Enterprise chief executive Antonio Neri to discuss the development of digital infrastructure and enterprise computing solutions, and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies in a manner that enhances the readiness of the digital economy.
