MCIT’s Digital Entrepreneurship Council Hosts Minister of Municipalities and Housing

The Digital Entrepreneurship Council in (CODE), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), hosted H.E. Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology. The session brought together entrepreneurs and investors in artificial intelligence and technology to discuss high-impact opportunities within the real estate sector and smart city solutions, as well as ways to support the growth of tech startups.

The council also included a tour of the accompanying startup exhibition, where a range of real estate solutions and digital real estate financing platforms were showcased, alongside solutions for city management, operations, and municipal services. These innovations aim to enhance project efficiency, improve service quality, and support the sustainability of the sector.

The council further discussed opportunities for integration between the technology, housing, and municipal sectors, as well as enabling startups to develop innovative solutions in housing, urban planning, and municipal services. This contributes to expanding investment opportunities, stimulating technological innovation, and advancing the growth of the digital economy in the Kingdom.
