Minister of Communications Discusses Strengthening Digital Economy and AI Partnerships with Ministers of South Africa and Finland

His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held a meeting with H.E. Solly Malatsi, South Africa’s Minister of Communications and Digital Innovation, on the sidelines of the G20 Digital Economy Ministers’ Meetings in South Africa.

The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the digital economy and AI, as well as empowering youth and entrepreneurship, in support of the objectives of the G20 Digital Economy and AI Task Force.

H.E. Alswaha also met with H.E. Lulu Ranne, Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications. The meeting explored avenues for strengthening collaboration in digital infrastructure, expanding partnerships in emerging technologies, and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation, thereby contributing to the growth of the digital economy.
