Minister of Communications Meets Nigerian, South African Counterpart, International Leaders to Support Growth of Digital Economy

 Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha, yesterday on the sidelines of the Global Cybersecurity Forum, met with Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of Nigeria Dr. Isa Ibrahim, Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies of South Africa Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Secretary General Elect Doreen Bogdan, UN Envoy on Technology Amandeep Singh Gill, President and CEO of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Göran Marby, and E-SPACE Founder and CEO Greg Wyler.
The meetings went over several issues of joint interest, mainly supporting digital economy growth, enhancing cooperation in the fields of innovation and developing national digital skills, empowering digital entrepreneurship, and opening markets between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and friendly countries
