Saudi MCIT Minister Alswaha Meets Pakistan’s Federal Minister for IT & Telecom to Strengthen Strategic Tech Cooperation

His Excellency Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with Her Excellency Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to explore new avenues for collaboration in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and innovation.

During the meeting, both ministers emphasized the importance of advancing bilateral cooperation in the digital economy, fostering joint innovation initiatives, and accelerating the adoption of next-generation technologies. The discussion also highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to sustainable development through technological progress.

The two sides reaffirmed their intention to deepen their strategic partnership under the framework of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), of which both countries are founding members. The meeting underscored the role of digital transformation in unlocking new economic opportunities and enabling inclusive growth for future generations.
