Communications Minister Meets ITU Secretary-General to Boost Strategic Partnership, Global Efforts in Connectivity, Inclusion
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met with Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Doreen Bogdan-Martin yesterday in Riyadh to discuss strategic partnerships and initiatives led by the Kingdom in support of international efforts for development and inclusion in the era of artificial intelligence.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25), in the presence of Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Acting Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission Haytham AlOhali.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the digital economy, fostering digital skills, empowering digital entrepreneurship, and boosting partnership in connectivity and inclusion, alongside the Kingdom’s leading initiatives aimed at empowering people and safeguarding the planet.
