H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met in the United States with Professor Fei-Fei Li, Co-Director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI) and one of the world’s leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence.

During the meeting, both sides discussed fostering global collaboration to build responsible and innovative AI systems that place humans at the core of development, as well as expanding cooperation in advancing safe and sustainable AI research.

The meeting comes as part of the efforts of the Digital Economy and Innovation ecosystem to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence, and to support the development of technologies that drive human progress and empower societies worldwide.
