Saudi ICT Delegation Visits Oman and Qatar to Expand Partnership in Technology and Innovation

H.E. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha heads a delegation representing the Kingdom's Information and communications technology (ICT) ecosystem to start an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman followed by Qatar. The visit aims at expanding partnership and cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation. During the two visits, Alswaha and his accompanying delegation will meet with Omani and Qatari counterparts, officials of relevant authorities in the public and private sectors, and corporate senior officials to strengthen partnerships and raise relations to higher levels, thus contributing to the achievement of common visions and aspirations, in particular to accelerate the growth of the digital economy in the region. Nowadays, Saudi Arabia is the regional hub for technology and innovation in the region, and the magnet for investments through building a number of robust strategic partnerships that promote the growth of the digital economy, and support the Kingdom's technology and innovation orientations, thus achieving the “Kingdom's Vision 2030” objectives.
