Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a meeting with Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Yuanqing Yang to enhance cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and advanced infrastructure.
The meeting discussed strengthening the partnership to leverage Lenovo's expertise in developing AI-powered personal computers (AI PCs), enabling knowledge transfer and national capacity building, supporting research and development initiatives, and expanding local industrial content, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The discussion also covered opportunities for joint investment in advanced manufacturing and the localization of emerging technologies, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and supporting the growth of the innovation ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
