Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met separately with the chief executives of Cisco and Oracle on the sidelines of the ninth annual Future Investment Initiative (FII9) conference.

During the meetings, they discussed ways of expanding technology investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling innovation in infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI), and strengthening strategic partnerships in the digital economy. These aim to support Saudi Arabia's growth and sustainable development goals, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

In the minister's meeting with Cisco's Chuck Robbins, they discussed the company's projects in Saudi Arabia and opportunities for collaboration in developing smart communication networks, enabling innovation in digital infrastructure, and supporting the development of national talent in advanced technologies.

He also discussed with Oracle co-chief executive Mike Sicilia opportunities for collaboration in data centers and cloud platform development, enabling smart solutions for the public and private sectors. The collaboration aims to enhance innovation and accelerate the transition to a knowledge-based digital economy.
