Registration Opens for GenAI Hackathon to Empower National Talent
Amazon Web Services (AWS), in collaboration with Manara and in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, announced the opening of registration for the Generative Artificial Intelligence Hackathon (GenAI Hackathon), to be held as part of the Saudi Tech Forum.
The initiative aims to develop national skills and build advanced capabilities in AI and cloud computing technologies.
The hackathon forms part of a set of qualitative initiatives focused on developing innovative, generative AI–based solutions to address real-world opportunities in the Kingdom. It features both technical and non-technical tracks, enabling participants to apply their capabilities in practical innovation, enhance their skills, and align outcomes with labor-market needs.
The GenAI Hackathon represents an extension of efforts to support the digital innovation ecosystem, accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, and enhance the readiness of national human capital, contributing to the competitiveness of the digital economy and the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
The forum will feature a job fair and a dedicated recruitment zone, allowing participants to conduct on-the-spot interviews and build professional connections with employers. The forum will also provide networking opportunities between AWS-trained talent and employers in the Kingdom, enhancing the readiness of national competencies for future job opportunities.
Additionally, the forum will include a platform bringing together speakers and experts from AWS and Manara, alongside leading Saudi technology figures, to discuss the latest trends in GenAI and showcase experiences that help translate digital skills into sustainable professional and economic opportunities.
