The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), represented by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), has launched the “Game Jam” event under the Saudi Game Champions Program 2, bringing together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs in a competitive environment to create innovative electronic games.

The initiative aims to enhance creativity and competitiveness among local game developers, empower young national talents in programming, design, and entrepreneurship, and inspire them to develop digital game prototypes within a short timeframe. The event contributes to building a new generation of Saudi creators in the gaming industry and strengthening the Kingdom’s presence in this promising global sector.

The event is part of a series of initiatives designed to grow the digital gaming ecosystem, in line with MCIT’s ongoing efforts to enable the digital economy and stimulate innovation and creativity across emerging technology sectors.
